Cooktown Activities

Cooktown is located between the mouth of the Endeavour River and Grassy Hill, with Mt Cook as a backdrop. Named after Captain James Cook, it is a small town with a long history and maintains much of its historical charm. Its close proximity to the Endeavour and Annan Rivers, and nearby Great Barrier Reef make it an ideal fishing destination.
